Please read carefully before your appointment

Age Requirement

  • Inkoholics Tattoo Studio only tattoos clients aged 18 and over. A valid government-issued photo ID (passport or driving licence) must be presented before any procedure.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if satisfactory proof of age cannot be provided.

Bookings & Deposits

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of booking.

  • Deposits are deducted from the total cost of your session.

  • Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a new date with a minimum of 3 days' notice.

  • Appointments may be rescheduled once only, provided the studio is notified at least 3 days in advance.

  • Deposits are forfeited in the event of cancellation, no-show, or rescheduling with less than 3 days' notice.

Health & Medical Conditions

  • We do not tattoo anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • Clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, skin conditions, pregnancy, or blood-thinning medication prior to the procedure.

  • The studio is not liable for complications arising from undisclosed medical information.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or postpone a procedure if we have concerns about the client's health or safety.

Conduct & Studio Rules

  • Clients must behave respectfully towards all staff and other clients at all times.

  • Only the client receiving the tattoo is permitted in the tattoo area during the procedure, in accordance with City of Edinburgh Council regulations.

  • The studio reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service without providing a reason.

Tattoo Process & Design

  • All custom designs remain the intellectual property of Inkoholics Tattoo Studio and the creating artist.

  • We reserve the right to refuse requests to reproduce another artist's work.

  • Final designs are presented on the day of the appointment. Minor adjustments are welcome; significant redesigns may require a new booking.

  • The studio reserves the right to photograph completed tattoos for portfolio and promotional use unless the client explicitly objects.

Aftercare & Liability

  • Clients must follow the aftercare instructions provided by their artist.

  • The studio accepts no liability for fading, infection, or other complications resulting from failure to follow aftercare guidance.

  • Touch-up appointments for issues caused by improper aftercare are chargeable at the studio's standard rates.

Payments & Refunds

  • We accept Cash, Card, and Bank Transfer.

  • Full session costs are payable upon completion of the tattoo.

  • No refunds are issued for completed tattoos.

  • In the unlikely event of an error attributable solely to the artist, a complimentary touch-up will be offered.

Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

  • If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
